Why Azurite?
Most of the businesses we talk to already have an IT provider. What usually makes them move is rarely a single feature. It’s more often about finding people who understand where the business is going and can be relied on to help get it there. These are the reasons clients choose us.
People who've done this before
This isn’t anyone’s first venture. Between us we’ve built and run managed-service businesses before including growing one, self-funded, to a team of around 125 people, with several acquisitions along the way. Growth like that runs on clients staying and referring others; there’s no outside money to paper over the gaps.
That experience spans a wide range of organisations from startups and SMEs through to large international businesses and across local, national and international markets. In each case the technology wasn’t overhead to be managed down; it was part of how the business grew.
We didn’t fall into working together, either. Azurite is a small group of people who each spent long enough inside the standard managed-service model to see where it works and where it lets clients down, and who arrived at the same conclusion independently – that there was a better way to do this. So we’re building it.
Assessment first, always
We start every relationship the same way, with an assessment. Before we offer a single opinion, we want to understand where your technology actually stands and where the business is trying to go that’s the difference between advice you can act on and advice that only sounds right.
Most of what we find needs translating; technical reality turned into decisions a board and a finance lead can weigh, in both directions. Before we take over managing anything, we bring it up to a defensible standard, so we’re not left standing over a mess we can’t control. And the assessment never really stops. We keep a live picture of risks and recommendations, so the question of what to fix next stays grounded in evidence rather than opinion. Anything we go on to deliver is scoped, documented and priced before it’s sold, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
AI runs underneath how we deliver rather than sitting on top as a feature. In practice that means the routine, repetitive work is automated things move faster, less falls through the cracks, and our people spend their time on judgement rather than tickets.
Microsoft to the core, security underneath
We’re Microsoft specialists. The Modern Workplace stack is the centre of what we do, not one option on a list we’ll bend to fit, which is what lets us keep it genuinely secure and manageable rather than supporting whatever happens to already be in place.
Security isn’t a separate service we upsell it sits underneath everything we deliver, which matters whether or not frameworks like NIS2 or DORA apply to you. The platforms we run are a curated set we can stand over, chosen because they work, not because they were already there.

Honest about fit, in it for the long run
We’ll tell you early if we’re not the right fit. We’d rather have that conversation at the start than take on work that was never going to land well for you or for us.
When we do work together, it’s built for the long run. Our model is long-term partnership rather than one-off project revenue, so our incentives point the same way yours do. You’ll deal with senior people who engage at board and leadership level as advisors, not ticket-takers, and you’ll always know who your contacts are, with structured touchpoints and named people, not silence between invoices.
Good work leads to more work
Most of our growth comes from reputation and referral rather than hard selling because we know that good work leads to more work. We take real pride in getting things right the first time, so you’re not unpicking them later. And the people doing the work enjoy it, which tends to show up in the service even when it’s hard to point to exactly why.
